What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build and deploy AI-ready disease surveillance systems—especially real-time zoonotic screening—using strong epidemiology, Python, and computer vision, with an ethics-and-safety-first approach and clear public-health impact.

I’m a Licensed Public Health Officer and Epidemiologist with 5+ years of experience in disease surveillance, including COVID-19, Ebola, and Mpox response. At Nairobi City County Government, I lead epidemiological intelligence and outbreak response while validating electronic health and vaccination datasets (KHIS/EMR) into AI-ready reports.

I also specialize in AI for life sciences: I’m architecting AI-driven frameworks for real-time zoonotic disease screening using Python and computer vision. My work includes RLHF for medical/scientific AI models, plus fact-verification, AI ethics, and red teaming to improve accuracy, safety, and domain alignment.
