Software engineering leader delivering on-time, high-quality complex products and mentoring teams to execution.
What I'm looking for
I’m a software engineering leader responsible for delivering on-time, high-quality complex software products to a diverse customer base. I build, lead, and mentor technical teams into highly efficient groups, especially when direction is limited and risk is high.
As a Software Department Manager at Northrop Grumman, I lead a 130+ software engineering department with mentorship, program support, and technical review for program IRTs and proposals. I drive continuous communication with Program IPTs and leadership to achieve FHR and on-time milestone objectives, while owning talent development, hiring, performance management, and career progression.
Earlier, I served as Fire Scout IPT Lead, providing hands-on technical and programmatic leadership for naval unmanned VTOL software in an agile development environment. I also led unmanned aircraft software efforts supporting DO-178C safety-critical and cryptographically secure systems, establishing a development process that helped meet and exceed schedule and budget and supporting successful delivery efforts, including derivative UAS work for the UAE.
My career spans requirements through flight-test delivery of mobile wireless solutions and embedded systems, including secure avionics, communication platforms, and next-generation waveforms. I bring a disciplined approach to safety, integration, and cross-discipline interfacing—turning technical strategy into executable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
