Identified over 30+ areas within all functional teams across multiple programs where processes did not exist and successfully implemented new processes. Strategically worked with all functional areas to determine if processes needed improvements and applicability updates, and built the Technology Process and Tools from the ground up.

Managed requirements on the ARTEMIS I and II programs for NASA, including negotiating requirements with sub-contractors. Led the Systems Engineering team and administered DOORS Next Generation (DNG).

Led a successful technology group of 25 direct reports and multiple IRAD projects, consistently achieving department goals. Served as the Company Designated Engineering Representative (DER) and IPDT Lead for government programs.

Managed the development, process, and implementation of software for avionics with Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) equipped aircraft. Implemented an Agile process tailored to meet the different aspects involved with Special Operations Aviation.

Managed multiple aerospace projects critical to company growth and annual revenue, with a project portfolio totaling 21MM annually. Owned Agile engineering processes and served as an Agile Scrum Master.

Led Electromechanical Technology product qualification activities with strict adherence to customer requirements such as DO-160, DO-178, and ARP-4754A. Developed and managed a group of engineers consisting of Mechanical, Software, and Electrical disciplines.

Launched a veteran-owned small business to provide government aerospace engineering services through GSA schedule and Small Business set aside funding contracts. Developed business and technical proposals for bidding on government solicitations at the Federal, State, and County levels.

Led validation and verification engineering, responsible for developing company strategy for the development, implementation, and certification of ProLine Fusion Avionics Systems. Developed strategy and processes for Avionics Verification Engineering.

Led Electrical Systems Engineering on a new product development program for the G650 Large Cabin Business Aircraft, defining and designing the aircraft electrical system. Managed various new development projects simultaneously and advised upper management on supplier selections.

Defined GATM requirements for KC-10A aircraft and supported KC-10A fleet integration for the BOOM modification project. Designed modifications for flight training devices and wrote real-time embedded software for Avionics Bus Controller and NAV AIDS Controller.

Verified low-level software requirements against implementation in a lab environment on the A-10 Warthog avionics upgrade program. Integrated and tested Link16 datalink software and hardware.

Served as an FAA certified Air Traffic Controller, establishing assault zones and creating austere air fields. Acted as a one-man attachment to other Special Forces teams and was a Mission Recovery Team Leader.

Earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa. Focused on business management principles applicable to various industries.

Completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Developed expertise in electrical systems and related engineering concepts.
