Mulugeta Tsegaw

I’m a legal professional with LL.B, LL.M in Business and Corporate Law, and an MBA, and I build value at the intersection of legal advisory, banking needs, and applied research. I currently serve as a Manager in the Legal Advisory and Research Division, where I lead the division in line with organizational structure and foster excellence, accountability, and innovation.

In my role, I provide legal advice, manage litigation, and ensure regulatory compliance while aligning service delivery and operational standards with strategic priorities. I oversee legal advisory and research work, collaborate across units to improve efficiency and execution, and support the preparation and review of contracts, MOU/agreements, policies, pleadings, and reporting.

Alongside my legal practice, I contribute to teaching and capacity building as an Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer and by preparing training materials for employees and the community. I also deliver pro bono legal aid and support research and quality/standards responsibilities through academic and committee leadership, including anti-corruption and ethics-focused studies.
