What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build my career in corporate and banking legal advisory—focused on contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and practical risk mitigation—while continuing to apply clear research-driven guidance and strengthen stakeholder trust in legal decisions. Further I can do every legal activity like researching hence I have every experience to perform it accordingly.

I am an ethically grounded corporate lawyer with strong expertise in Ethiopian civil, commercial, and banking law. I hold an LLB with Great Distinction, and I bring a disciplined approach to legal excellence in every advisory and drafting task.

In my current role as Legal Attorney at Cooperative Bank of Oromia, I provide legal research and advisory on banking law and regulatory frameworks. I draft and review contracts, memoranda, and institutional policies, and I support compliance with Ethiopian and international financial regulations while helping drive risk mitigation and clear internal decision-making.

Before this, I strengthened my academic and institutional leadership as an Assistant Lecturer and as Coordinator of Academic Assessment and Quality Assurance at Haramaya University. I led quality assurance initiatives, evaluated curriculum effectiveness, coordinated institutional reporting, and supported strategic planning and compliance with national education standards.

I have also contributed to public legal work and advocacy through experience as a Public Prosecutor and through moot court coaching and competition. Across teaching, legal aid, training, and quality assurance, I consistently translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance that supports corporate and institutional objectives.
