MUHAMMAD NAVEED

I’m an Assistant System Administrator with 6+ years of experience in ICT infrastructure, system administration, network support, lab management, and academic IT operations. I focus on keeping lab environments reliable, secure, and ready for workshops, bootcamps, and conferences.

In my current role at NUST Islamabad (Feb 2020–Present), I manage ICT, computer, and electronics labs, deploy Windows/Linux systems, and maintain networks along with AV systems, surveillance, and biometric systems. I also deliver technical event support to ensure smooth operations for large academic activities.

Previously, as a Network Technician at DGP Army Rawalpindi (2016–2017), I installed and maintained LAN/Wi‑Fi, configured routers and switches, and supported day-to-day connectivity needs. That foundation strengthened my troubleshooting and infrastructure maintenance approach.

I’m comfortable working across Windows and Linux, and I enjoy translating technical requirements into stable, practical setups. With hands-on experience and event-driven support, I aim to make IT infrastructure dependable for teaching, research, and hands-on learning.
