What I'm looking for

I seek a role that allows me to support vulnerable populations and promote social justice.

I am a dedicated social worker with a strong focus on case management and a passion for supporting vulnerable populations. My journey in social work began with my education at the University of Zululand, where I earned my Bachelor of Social Work. Since then, I have gained extensive experience in various settings, including working with children and addressing gender-based violence (GBV).

Throughout my career, I have held positions at several organizations, including Mpilonhle and Musawenkosi CYCC, where I honed my skills in case management and child support. Most recently, I served as a Chief Social Worker at the AIDS Foundation South Africa, where I effectively utilized my knowledge to benefit both the organization and its stakeholders. My commitment to professional growth is evident in my ongoing training, including a specialized course in GBV.

My experience extends to monitoring and evaluating programs, facilitating group sessions, and advocating for children's rights under the Children's Act No.38 of 2005. I am eager to continue my journey in social work, contributing to meaningful change in the community.
