I’m a motivated Dental Assistant student with healthcare experience and a strong foundation in patient care, scheduling, insurance verification, and medical records management. I’m currently enrolled at San Antonio North West Dental Assistant School, with an expected graduation date of August 2026.

I’m building practical, chairside-ready skills through Dental Assistant Training (In Progress), including Chairside Assistance Fundamentals, Infection Control & OSHA Standards, and Sterilization Procedures. I also focus on Dental Terminology, HIPAA Compliance, patient intake and medical histories, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and EMR/EHR systems, along with front office operations and patient communication.

In my professional experience as an Eye Doctor Assistant at Uvalde Eye Center, I prepared patients for examinations and updated health histories, assisted with diagnostic testing, and maintained patient flow. I also scheduled appointments, verified insurance, maintained records, and ensured HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality—skills I carry into every patient-facing and administrative task. With additional experience in teaching and as an Account Representative, I bring strong organization, multitasking, and comfort handling confidential records, and I’m seeking a Dental Assistant Externship or entry-level Dental Assistant position to contribute exceptional patient service, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
