What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a laboratory role where I can deliver accurate medical laboratory testing, support ISO-aligned quality assurance, run QC and audits, maintain analyzers safely, and collaborate with clinical teams to improve patient outcomes.

I am a bachelor’s degree graduate in medical laboratory science (2015) and a certified and licensed laboratory professional (August 2018) with years of expertise in clinical chemistry, hematology, blood transfusion, microbiology, parasitology, immunology, serology, microscopy, and urine and body fluid analysis. I take pride in accuracy, compliance, and a systematic approach to handling specimens and producing reliable results.

At Cerba Lancet Kenya, I have served as a Medical laboratory technologist since September 2018, conducting chemical analysis of blood, urine, and other body fluids, collecting and studying blood samples for cell count, morphology, and blood group/types. I use my skills across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, parasitology, body fluid analysis, and microscopy to support diagnosis, while keeping the laboratory in compliance with applicable guidelines and laws.

I also bring strong quality and safety leadership as a Quality assurance officer, ensuring daily/monthly analyzer preventive maintenance is documented, overseeing daily quality controls and calibrations, and participating in intra and inter laboratory quality control programs. I support external and internal quality audits aligned with ISO standards and up-to-date SOPs, validate new analysers and test methods, troubleshoot QC/EQA failures, and help maintain a healthy and safe environment to minimize infection risk.
