Momna Amin

I am an MS student in Molecular Medicine with a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, combining strong academic grounding with hands-on laboratory experience. I bring focused expertise in molecular biology, enzymology, genetics, and a range of biochemical and analytical techniques.

My practical experience includes QC internship work in a pharmaceutical laboratory performing HPLC, FTIR, UV spectrophotometry, dissolution testing and other assays, as well as academic lab work involving PCR, ELISA, electrophoresis, tissue culture and microscopy. I have contributed to assay execution, titrations, sonication, friability determination and data management.

I have a demonstrated interest in mentoring and teaching, having provided academic tutoring and lab supervision that fostered student learning and skill development. I emphasize clear technical writing, data analysis, and effective time management to balance research and coursework.

I am seeking opportunities to apply my laboratory skills and instructional abilities as a Teaching Assistant, where I can support student learning, contribute to lab safety and quality practices, and continue developing professionally in molecular medicine and biochemistry.
