I’m a Computer Science student and native Amharic speaker focused on building contextually accurate Amharic language data for AI training. I specialize in catching subtle unnatural phrasing and non-contextual translation artifacts that quietly degrade model quality in lower-resource languages.
Through sustained work as an Independent Amharic Data Contributor (Silencio), I prioritize semantic and cultural accuracy over literal word-for-word conversion, consistently identifying and reporting mistranslations others may miss. I also bring a teacher’s clarity from my in-person Amharic instruction experience, translating grammar and pronunciation into structured explanations tailored to each learner’s pace.
