What I'm looking for

I'm looking to strengthen security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, risk assessment, and infrastructure hardening in a role supporting resilient telecom or enterprise environments.

I've supported Somalia's telecom sector at the National Communications Authority of Somalia, auditing operators and public institutions against national cybersecurity frameworks and ISO 27001 standards.

I monitor networks and systems for outages, abnormal activity, and security incidents, then investigate vulnerabilities, validate remediation, and maintain security risk, treatment, exception, and compliance registers.

Previously at Amtel Telecom Company, I supported NOC and core network operations, maintained network equipment and connectivity, and reviewed logs, alarms, latency, and service availability to identify security and operational issues.

I've built security architectures for web applications, centralized identity and endpoint controls, SIEM/SOC monitoring, and vulnerability management using tools including Wazuh, FortiWEB, Active Directory, Nmap, OpenVAS, Nessus, and Wireshark.
