Mohammed Shehzad

I am a Cybersecurity graduate with a strong foundation in networking, security operations, and threat analysis, certified in CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701). I have hands-on experience with tools such as Wireshark, Kali Linux, and SIEM fundamentals and have worked on practical projects that mirror real-world SOC tasks.

During my degree at the University of West London (2022–2025) I completed a network traffic analysis project using Wireshark to identify normal and suspicious traffic patterns and document findings using SOC-like workflows. I also developed a phishing email detection tool in Python, analyzing headers and content to identify malicious indicators.

I set up and managed Windows and Linux virtual machines in a lab environment, practiced system installation and troubleshooting, and gained familiarity with Microsoft 365 and basic IT support procedures. I am continuing professional development with Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1) in progress.

I bring analytical thinking, strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a willingness to learn and adapt. I am motivated to start as a junior SOC Analyst or IT/Security Intern and contribute to real-world security operations.
