What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a Power Engineering internship within Sri Lanka’s power sector, particularly in generation, transmission, distribution, or transformer and switchgear manufacturing.

At the University of Ruhuna, I contributed to a physical model of Sri Lanka’s power grid for REXTRO 2025, doing the largest share of the hands-on build work within the project team. I also explained generation, transmission and distribution to exhibition visitors.

For a faculty-wide campus energy audit, I calculated lighting, air-conditioning and equipment loads across laboratories and offices, then compiled measured data into a findings report to support energy-efficiency recommendations. I’ve also gained practical exposure to power plant operations at Yugadanavi Power Plant and transformer manufacturing at LTL Transformers (Pvt) Ltd.

My laboratory experience includes electrical machine and transformer testing, and I designed a normalised MySQL database for an EV charging station management system. I’m seeking a Power Engineering internship in Sri Lanka’s power sector, including generation, transmission, distribution, or transformer and switchgear manufacturing.
