@miriamquaisie
Aspiring data analyst and developer using Python to solve real-world health problems.
What I'm looking for
I’m a motivated, adaptable lifelong learner with a strong curiosity for solving real-world problems. My journey from studying Pharmacy (PharmD) to pursuing Computer Science shaped how I think—technology is essential for creating solutions across diverse fields.
In my internship with Modia Farms (Health Department), I entered and analysed employee health data using Microsoft Excel, then created reports highlighting workplace health trends and insights. I supported data-driven decision-making and observed digital systems being implemented for regulatory compliance.
I translate that curiosity into hands-on building: I’ve created Python CLI tools (secure password generation, word frequency, and ASCII encoding/decoding) and built Linux and web fundamentals with Bash, HTML, and CSS while managing version control with Git. I also explored security topics through a cybersecurity research essay on SQL injection and XSS, strengthening my focus on responsible, practical problem-solving.
