Mikey Castillon

I'm currently supporting clients at Wyoming Life Resource Center as a Behavior Technician, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision. I collect behavioral data, build communication and daily living skills, and use evidence-based strategies to safely manage crises.

Before this, I taught Chemistry and Earth Science for Fremont County School District, adapting curriculum for IEP and ELL students while using restorative and culturally responsive teaching practices.

At NOLS, I taught environmental science, human history, culture, ethics, and technical outdoor skills. I also managed students' injuries, medication, and mental health in the field while developing flexible, creative lesson plans.

I'm pursuing a Master of Science in Counseling and bring training in crisis management, behavior tools, and positive youth development. I'm motivated by helping people in distress navigate complex emotional and mental health challenges with confidentiality and professionalism.
