At the New York Office of Cannabis Management, I analyze financial, market, licensing, and census data to support cannabis regulation. I wrote the 2024 and 2025 RO Inquiries, including analysis of NYCANNA’s ability to pay a $5 million entry fee and a 2.6 million-record review of RO profitability and market health.
I use PostgreSQL and Power BI to build tables, queries, rankings, and analyses across sales, brands, suppliers, dispensaries, SEE recertification, CDI characteristics, and census variables. My work has surfaced findings such as three of seven ROs with positive operating income and 391 licensees approved for additional SEE categories.
I’ve also analyzed more than 1.1 million cannabis-arrest records across New York State, using geospatial and longitudinal comparisons to examine changing policing patterns from 1980 through 2021. Earlier experience in private banking, small-business support, and customer service informs my practical approach to financial and operational analysis.
