@michellewangechi
Software development student building Java applications, including a university timetable management system.
KenyaWhat I'm looking for
I developed the KCA Timetable Management System to support the organization and scheduling of university academic activities. I used a three-tier architecture and Microsoft SQL Server for structured data storage and retrieval.
For a hospital appointment portal, I implemented login, appointment management, and logout functionality using Java Servlets and JDBC, and ran the application with Apache Tomcat.
I also deployed a personal portfolio website on AWS EC2, configuring Apache HTTP Server, security groups, and SSH access. I used Git and GitHub for version control and project documentation.
Through freelance software-related work, I completed website creation, pipeline management, and other client assignments. As a volunteer with Ubuntu, I developed software and helped children in need build foundational computer skills.
