Michelle Mchenga

I’m a Debtors Clerk focused on keeping customer accounts accurate and up to date. I record direct deposits, ensure payments are receipted and processed to the correct accounts, and keep customer documentation organized through invoices and credit notes filing.

I take ownership of debtors reporting and control, from writing debtors journals for authorization to matching receipts against invoices. I reconcile cash sale accounts and other debtors accounts, then prepare and send statements to customers.

I’m confident handling day-to-day customer support, including attending to customer queries and running defaulters reports to help the business track outstanding balances. I work carefully to ensure every figure is accurate and that processes are completed on time.

With a National Certificate in Accountancy (2018–2019) and a National Diploma in Accountancy (2019–2023), I bring both practical experience and a learning mindset to financial administration. I use Sage accounting software and Microsoft Excel alongside strong communication and teamwork to support the Financial Manager and Management Accountant.
