I'm seeking a technical leadership role building resilient, high-uptime systems in an Agile team that values mentorship, cloud/container adoption, and opportunities to drive digital transformation.

I am a Technology Engineer with 14+ years of software development experience and five progressive promotions at Norfolk Southern Corporation, a Fortune 500 railroad company. I advanced from Technology Trainee to dual team and technical leadership roles delivering mission-critical platforms that optimize locomotive utilization across a fleet of 4,000+ locomotives and a 19,500-mile network. I led digital transformation initiatives while maintaining 99.9% uptime.

I led development and architecture for the Thoroughbred Locomotive Management System, a Windows Desktop client and Java back-end server application; and the Carbon Abatement Program, building REST APIs containerized on OpenShift. My hands-on tech stack includes C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, Entity Framework Core, WPF, XAML, Java, SQL Server, DB2, OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, Git and XUnit; I developed extensive unit and component tests and performed regular code reviews.

I mentor junior developers, guided the transition from Waterfall to Kanban, implemented Git workflows and CI pipelines, and improved processes that increased reliability and saved time.
