Michael Bolarinwa

I’m a microbiology graduate committed to applying strong analytical, laboratory, and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate testing and reliable results. I’m driven by quality, safety, and continuous improvement, especially in research and public-health related work.

During my SIWES internship at the Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO), Oshodi, Lagos State, I assisted with microbiological laboratory analysis and research activities. I performed sample preparation, microbial culturing, and laboratory data documentation while maintaining laboratory safety and quality control standards.

I bring hands-on competence in microbiological analysis, microbial identification, and aseptic/sterile techniques to keep experiments contamination-free. I’m also experienced in sample collection and processing, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, biosafety and laboratory safety, laboratory equipment operation, and scientific report writing that supports decision-making.

Beyond the lab, I strengthen communication, organization, and collaboration through teaching and virtual support roles. I’m currently seeking a position where I can utilize my microbiological analysis, research, and laboratory practices to support innovation, safety, and consistent quality across laboratory operations.
