I’m a GIS Technician I focused on keeping spatial data reliable for real-world asset management. At Duke Energy, I edit and maintain gas distribution system maps and update enterprise geodatabases using field documentation.
I perform quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company and governmental standards. I also produce, digitally protect, and distribute map layouts for external entities using Smallworld GE, while partnering with operations and field teams to resolve discrepancies.
I bring an organized, training-minded approach to the GIS team—developing and maintaining training materials to support procedural consistency. I also review and update company asset data in IBM Maximo and assist with diagnostics for GIS-related software issues.
My foundation comes from the University of Cincinnati, where I earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies with a minor in Geography and Geographic Information Science certificate. I also developed media production skills through an internship as a Digital Imaging Specialist, using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge to create client-ready promotional content.
