What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a challenging and rewarding position in a reputable law firm where I can fully use and expand my working knowledge of legal terminology, general law, and legal proceedings.

At Confidential Insurance Company, I prepare discovery, case evaluations, and trial materials for first-party property homeowner's cases. I also research claims, underwriting files, permits, and records to support case recommendations and defense strategies.

I prepare motions, subpoenas, and materials for mediations and hearings, and attend mediation as a Corporate Representative on behalf of the Insurance Company. I also maintain Excel spreadsheets for legal department productivity, case management, and weekly deadlines.

Previously, I worked on insurance defense property cases at Gutterman Trial Group and Conroy Simberg, preparing files from pre-suit through trial. My work included discovery, trial preparation, legal research, and supporting expert and corporate representative depositions.

Across my paralegal roles, I’ve also worked in construction, commercial, family, personal injury, and medical malpractice matters. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Nova Southeastern University and associate degrees in Law and Legal Assisting from Miami Dade College.
