What I'm looking for

I'm looking to own and improve Linux infrastructure end to end: identity, automation, patching, backups, observability, and vendor relationships. I thrive where difficult inherited systems need to become reliable, documented, and boring.

At STRATACACHE, I run Nextcloud for 1,200 accounts and 500+ users worldwide, manage 1,188 RHEL hosts, a 963-VM vSphere estate, backups, DNS, email security, and TLS lifecycle. I remapped directory identities at the database layer to move 500+ users with no data loss or downtime, retiring the last system from a 2022 security incident.

I also build production-standard infrastructure in my Blakbox lab, automating Proxmox host lifecycle, centralizing identity with Keycloak and OpenBao, and creating an agentic operations layer for triage and routine fleet changes. Earlier at RapidSeedbox, I operated Docker and virtualization platforms, led support, and created customer tutorials that reached 44,000+ views.

Sole administrator for Nextcloud with 1,200 accounts and 20 TB storage, resolving a legacy domain controller issue and saving $30k/year by dropping vendor support. Managed RHEL 8/9 fleet upgrades and owned the Linux estate including Satellite, vSphere, and Veeam backups.
