Mason Wharton
@masonwharton
I build AI vision and robotic workcells that improve manufacturing throughput, quality, and safety.
What I'm looking for
I'm developing automated molding workcells at Forj Medical, combining AI-powered machine vision, vision-guided robotics, tooling design, and medical-device validation to improve throughput, consistency, and operator safety.
Previously at Apera AI, I scoped and installed 20+ production AI-vision systems in six months for bin picking, packaging, machine tending, and assembly. I’ve delivered robot-agnostic solutions across UR, FANUC, Yaskawa, KUKA, ABB, and Mitsubishi platforms while aligning cycle time, EOAT, and customer requirements.
Across Rapid Robotics, Automation Inc., and Boston Scientific, I’ve designed workcells, supported more than 80 robots, launched production lines, and led troubleshooting in regulated manufacturing environments. I bring hands-on experience in robotics, machine vision, validation, technical documentation, and cross-functional automation delivery.
