As a Freelance Consultant, I provided environmental compliance support for a proposed UC Santa Cruz off-campus facility. I prepared NEPA and CEQA documentation, conducted biological assessments for protected species such as Monterey Gilia, and analyzed potential construction impacts.
For Monterey Regional Park District, I served as a Field Researcher and GIS Consultant, developing land management maps and park unit delineations that culminated in an interactive ArcGIS StoryMap for public and governmental use.
As Marine Ecologist and GIS Manager, I authored and published the 2025 Surface Oceanic Species of Monterey Field Guide. I also authored, designed, and distributed a 2023 killer whale field guide, and co-authored a textbook chapter on killer whale predation ecology.
My work has also included field research on California Mussels and golf ball impacts on intertidal ecosystems. I’ve supported GIS training and intern projects, managed research data quality assurance, and shared findings through conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
