Masai Dumisani
@masaidumisani
Student coordinator combining community outreach, data management, and lab research support.
What I'm looking for
I’m a student coordinator with extensive experience supporting community-focused programs through scheduling, outreach, documentation, and data management. I enjoy helping diverse teams run smoothly by turning complex moving parts into clear calendars, accurate records, and consistent communication.
At University of California, Irvine, I support program fellows serving 450+ hours, facilitate community engagement events, and lead small-group discussion and reflection activities. I coordinate service activities and maintain documentation across Google Workspace, Airtable, and Microsoft Office, while creating newsletters and resource guides for 100+ fellows.
I also bring in-lab research capability as a Lab Assistant through the CIRM COMPASS program, working with sample preparation, sterile technique, record keeping, microscopy, PCR, and immunocytochemistry, plus cell culture with human stem cells. Alongside research support, I’ve strengthened administrative and client-facing skills through internships and advancement office work involving data entry, email outreach, and logistics.
