What I'm looking for

I seek a public-sector finance role applying revenue management, financial reporting and data analysis skills, leading small teams, ensuring compliance, and growing toward senior accounting responsibilities in a collaborative environment.

I am an economist and statistician with hands-on public finance experience, currently serving as Ward Receiver of Revenue for Makueni County. I collect and account for revenue, ensure compliance with the County Finance Act, bank funds to the county revenue fund, submit required reports, and supervise officers to meet performance targets.

Previously I served as a Revenue Clerk, bookkeeper apprentice and Monitoring and Evaluation intern, where I managed taxpayers' accounts using ZIZI software, prepared and filed monthly reports, supported audit and planning cycles, and consistently met reporting deadlines; I hold a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi and am completing Certified Public Accountant (KASNEB) Part 2.
