Maryan Noor

I’m a Finance graduate and emerging researcher with a focused interest in women’s financial inclusion, the gender data gap, and Islamic finance in East Africa. I combine financial analysis, data interpretation, and structured reporting with a deep personal commitment to research that supports meaningful policy and social impact.

In my current role as an Accountant at Huduma Services Limited, I prepare financial reports and analysis to support organizational decision-making. I maintain accurate financial records and manage bookkeeping using QuickBooks, while also assisting with payroll processing and reconciliations in a remote-collaborative environment.

Previously, as an Accounts Assistant with the County Government of Laikipia, I supported senior accountants in financial operations, budgeting, and reporting. I also have ongoing research work, including independent research on generational differences in women’s financial inclusion across East Africa using World Bank Global Findex data (2011–2021), and I’m currently completing the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification.
