Martin Ntuli
@martinntuli
Financial data analyst who turns Excel and SQL insights into clear reports and actionable decisions.
What I'm looking for
I’m a financial data professional combining creditors/accounts-payable work with hands-on analytics. I’ve worked with reconciliation, payment loading, and creditor reporting, while also building reporting and visualizations for stakeholders.
In my Junior Financial Data Support Analyst role at KPMG, I used analytics databases to perform statistical analysis and ad hoc reporting, then interpreted raw data to provide clarity to non-technical clients. I created Excel spreadsheets and used Visual Basic for Applications to make data visible before analysis, and I produced visualizations like dashboards, flowcharts, and graphs to support decisions.
I also contribute to data quality and improvement by maintaining databases and identifying new process improvement opportunities. I collect and analyze data to identify useful trends, and I use historical datasets to model and forecast business trends, supporting management with relevant information for informed decisions.
My finance foundation includes distinctions in Cost and management Accounting and Computerized Financial Systems, plus specialization training in Excel for data analytics and visualization, and coursework in database design and basic SQL in PostgreSQL. Currently, as a Creditors Clerk, I handle supplier reconciliations, purchase order to invoice matching, daily Pastel capture, and telegraphic transfer processing—delivering accurate creditor age analysis for review.
