Message

I’m an aspiring candidate for a cyber security role, driven by the desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the ever-evolving field of cyber security. Even though I may lack direct cybersecurity experience, I bring technical knowledge from web development that I’m ready to apply with purpose.

My hands-on foundation includes an NHIF internship (Jan 2017 - June 2017), where I researched and fixed a wide range of technical issues to strengthen my troubleshooting ability without supervision. I also oversaw digital filing systems and naming conventions, and worked on group projects that improved my presentations and team collaboration.

In June 2022 - July 2022, I built a group web application (MKULIMA-BASE) using Angular and Django, developing base code across the development lifecycle. I developed database models, created API endpoints with Django REST framework, and assisted in integrating JWT authentication on the backend.

I believe my personal strengths—good communications skills, confidence, and strong teamwork—were shaped during my time in networking marketing and strengthened through collaborative work. I’m determined to leverage my transferable skills and dedication to learning digital assets to make a meaningful impact in cyber security.
