Martha Bwashang Balami

I'm currently a Counsel at D.I Ndahi & Co. (Ambru Chamber), where I provide legal advice, represent clients before courts and tribunals, and draft and review contracts, pleadings, agreements, and other legal documents.

My legal work includes conducting research, preparing and filing court processes, arguing motions and trials, examining witnesses, and negotiating settlements and alternative dispute resolutions. I previously supported client cases as Counsel at B.R Balami & Co. Chambers and as a Paralegal at I.B Ismaila & Associates.

At the Center for Advocacy Transparency and Accountability Initiative, I supported HR operations including confidential staff files, payroll, entitlements, recruitment, onboarding, performance-management reporting, staff welfare, and exit processes.

I've also worked with Christian Aid as a SCOPE Registrar and Field Support Enumerator, registering beneficiaries, managing beneficiary data and biometrics, collecting data through ODK and KoboCollect, and supporting food distributions and community awareness activities. I bring practical knowledge of humanitarian core principles, accountability to affected populations, monitoring, evaluation, and work in remote areas.
