At GoCardless, I work on the Ruby on Rails payments platform. I led the migration of LexisNexis sanctions screening from basic auth to OAuth2, with a gradual rollout behind a feature flag and automatic fallback.
I delivered a flow for merchants to provide extra payer details when payments are held by sanctions screening, covering the data model, API, notifications and dashboard UI.
I also built monitoring for held payments and improved UBO KYC remediation. I built a self-serve feature for payers to securely update bank details, spanning a Rails API, access controls, emails and a Next.js app.
Before that, I built and maintained PSD2 open banking integrations at GoCardless (formerly Nordigen), including integrations with Swedbank, SEB and LHV. My work included consent handling, certificate rotation, retry logic and production support.
