At Delta Dental Ins., I lead rating, rate filing, and analytics for Individual, ACA, medical partnership, and AARP business, as well as rating and analytics for Medicare Advantage. I lead a team of three actuaries and two analysts and guide complex analyses and recommendations.
Previously, I led the annual CMS bid process at WellSense Health Plan and served as lead auditor for 47 CMS actuarial bid audits at Granite Dolphin Actuarial Services. My background also includes financial planning and medical economics at BMC HealthNet Plan and commercial profitability and pricing at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts; I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Boston University and am an FSA.
