Marija Stanojevic
@marijastanojevic
I advance equitable health systems through global health advocacy, policy, and youth participation.
What I'm looking for
I've represented 1.5 million medical students through IFMSA at COP29's WHO Health Pavilion, advocating for climate literacy, sustainable healthcare, and youth engagement in climate-health negotiations. I also contribute to European cancer and noncommunicable disease prevention through the Youth Advisory Group for Joint Action PreventNCD.
As President and Vice President for External Affairs of IFMSA-Serbia, I managed teams, strategic partnerships, and national advocacy initiatives while representing Serbia in regional and global meetings. My work spans disability inclusion, antimicrobial resistance awareness, mental health promotion, and meaningful youth participation in global health decision-making.
I'm a medical doctor and MPH student conducting HRQoL research in Serbia, with research experience in cervical cancer prevention, youth mental health, and molecular characterization of hairy cell leukemia.
