Margaret Mathuli

I’m a healthcare professional who combines HIV testing services counseling with nutrition assessment and education. In my HTS role, I focus on client trust, accurate testing support, and clear guidance that helps people make informed decisions.

From my work as an HTS Counselor at Kibera amref hospital, I tested and counseled clients, linked them to care whether the result was positive or negative, and documented work completed. I also delivered mass education on positive living and emphasized the importance of testing to support timely next steps.

I’ve strengthened care coordination by integrating support with breastfeeding mothers and assisting partners notifications services. I take pride in being non judgmental, helping clients accept and start medication through counseling while also providing supportive conversations around shared opinions.

Across multiple nutritionist positions (PCEA kikuyu hospital, Mama Lucy kibaki hospital, and Machakos level 5 hospital), I performed nutrition assessment, delivered nutrition education and group education, and supported community outreach. I’m certified in Nutrition and dietetics (Healthcare) and HIV testing services (Healthcare), and I bring strong listening, communication, and community mobilisation skills to every client interaction.
