MARCIN GALAS

@marcingalas

Backend Software Engineer at SimCorp building event-streaming frameworks across Kafka, Kinesis and Azure Event Hubs.

What I'm looking for

I’m deliberately moving my career toward Python backend development, building on my commercial C#/.NET experience and existing hands-on work with backend systems and infrastructure.

At SimCorp, I built a cloud-agnostic event-streaming framework that provides one API across Kafka, Amazon Kinesis and Azure Event Hubs. I also developed distributed partition assignment and load balancing, and storage abstractions for Azure Blob Storage and Amazon S3.

At Motorola Solutions, I developed backend services for Video Manager EL and helped build a cloud-native camera management platform. My commercial background is in C#/.NET, and I’m deliberately moving toward Python backend development; I use AI coding agents daily and critically review their output.
