What I'm looking for

I'm looking to work on performance-critical, open-source infrastructure, storage engines, and distributed systems, where I can contribute to production-grade database systems and continue deepening my understanding of systems engineering.

I've contributed production reliability and performance improvements to Kubernetes, Weaviate, and LocalAI. In Kubernetes, I fixed a critical nil pointer panic in kubeadm reset to prevent crashes during cluster teardowns.

At Weaviate, I optimized HNSW memory allocation during node insertion, added safeguards against index-growth OOM crashes, and built dynamic HNSW commit-log configuration based on GOMEMLIMIT. I also contributed frontend routing and JSON schema validation improvements to LocalAI.

I'm building KVDB, a Pebble-inspired LSM-tree storage engine in Go, including WAL recovery, MemTables, SSTables, compaction, atomic batched writes, internal keys, profiling, and an interactive CLI. I'm focused on performance engineering, Linux internals, storage engines, and production-grade database systems.

Built a complete LSM-tree storage engine in Go from first principles, including WAL, MemTable, SSTable, and compaction. Implemented batched writes, crash recovery, and a CLI for testing.
