What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a fully remote, hands on role across Quality Engineering, test automation or workflow automation, ideally with strong technical ownership and problem solving. I’m based in Australia and looking for location flexibility, and I’m comfortable working with global teams and across time zones. I’m open to senior IC, lead, consulting, contract or part time roles.

I’m a hands on Quality Engineering and Automation specialist with 15+ years of experience across software testing, test automation, workflow automation and data validation.

At Rotor Studios, I joined as the first dedicated QA engineer and built the QA function and team from the ground up while remaining hands on technically. My work includes designing custom in house test automation using JavaScript/Node.js and Selenium WebDriver, visual regression for complex real time 3D and web applications, data and configuration validation using XML, JSON and APIs, and Jenkins based automation. Some of the systems I work with involve more than 100,000 product configuration combinations.

I have also built automated specification, validation and transformation workflows that identify issues earlier in the delivery lifecycle and reduce complex manual processes from days to hours.

Earlier in my career I worked in QA consulting and test leadership across insurance, media, banking, healthcare and enterprise applications, often with globally distributed teams.

I enjoy breaking down complex problems, understanding how systems, data and workflows fit together, and building practical automation that makes them simpler and more reliable. I’m particularly interested in remote, hands on roles across Quality Engineering, test automation, workflow automation and related technical problem solving.
