Mallory Perkins

I am a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse with over five years of experience in perioperative care, currently serving as a Charge Nurse in the Pediatric Operating Room at WVU Medicine-Children’s. My commitment to high-quality, family-centered care has been recognized through my strong organizational skills and punctuality. I am actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with an expected graduation in December 2025, to further enhance my clinical expertise and leadership abilities.

Throughout my career, I have been a member of the Pediatric Open Heart Team, supporting complex cardiovascular surgeries and ensuring patient safety and surgical flow. I take pride in precepting new nurses and students, fostering their clinical development while maintaining compliance with infection control and safety standards. My experience as an OR Circulator has equipped me with the skills to assist with a wide range of surgical procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and patient advocacy.
