Maja Bonham

At Simon Fraser University, I analyzed sediment PCB concentrations inside and outside Southern Resident Killer Whale habitat and modeled biota contamination to evaluate potential risks. I used R and ArcGIS to analyze and visualize contamination, and authored methods and results sections to scientific publication standards.

In the Hallam Lab, I designed and conducted experiments to produce mycelium biocomposites and evaluate their degradation across compost, soil, and marine environments. I’m seeking to apply my laboratory and field experience in an environmental role.
