At EdgeVerve (Finacle), I engineered an event-driven payment approval workflow using Node.js and RabbitMQ, with exchange-based routing and approval rules tied to transaction amounts.
I also implemented queue-based Redis caching for Accounts and ProfilePreferences, populated from PostgreSQL, and added unique UUIDs for NEFT and RTGS payments.
At Capgemini, I improved backend performance and resilience with Redis caching and Opossum circuit breakers, achieving around 40% faster response times under load. I also led development of a microservice that compares PDF content for an online banking client, accelerating QA workflows by 35%.
My project work includes a banking-customer RAG chatbot that finds relevant information in FAQ and policy documents using prompt chunking and cosine similarity.
