At Stony Brook Medicine, I analyze emergency department survey data on older adults’ characteristics and preferences related to preventing recurrent fall-related injuries. I use SAS, R, and Microsoft Suite to understand how patient characteristics influence falls prevention program preferences.
As a Graduate Research Assistant at Stony Brook Medicine, I contribute to studies on cesarean decision-making and perinatal healthcare experiences. I engage patients in survey studies, track participation, arrange follow-up surveys, and enter data using REDCap and PowerChart Cerner.
My research experience also includes evaluating questionnaires and pre-operative pain score variability with Stony Brook Medicine’s Department of Anesthesiology. I conducted literature reviews, abstracted patient data, and presented research at ASER PM 2023 and the 76th Annual Post Graduate Assembly in Anesthesiology.
