I seek a collaborative environment that values innovative teaching practices and supports professional growth.

I am a passionate educator with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in teaching culturally and linguistically diverse exceptional students. My teaching experience spans various roles, including Lower School Science Teacher at University Liggett School, where I designed and implemented innovative inquiry-based learning experiences for students in Grades 1 to 5. I am committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment that promotes scientific observation, creativity, and collaboration.

Throughout my career, I have initiated programs such as the First Lego League Robotics, encouraging students to engage in coding and problem-solving through hands-on projects. My dedication to professional development is evident through my participation in global education initiatives, including the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching, where I researched global citizenship education in Finland. I have also been recognized as Teacher of the Year and awarded the Golden Apple for excellence in teaching and leadership.

Designed and implemented inquiry and project-based learning for students in Grades 1 to 5, and developed the lower school science curriculum to incorporate life, physical, earth, space science, and computer programming. Started First Lego League Robotics for Grades 4-5, where students designed and created Lego robots to solve missions through coding, leading to state-level competition attendance.
