I’m a recent UC Santa Barbara B.S. graduate in Biopsychology with a background in qualitative research, and I’m looking to pursue a career in genetic counseling. I’m especially eager to gain more experience with patient-facing care as I build my skills for this field.
As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at ACCESS Lab, I conduct psychology research experiments focused on education and equity, co-writing manuscripts for publication and projects for WPA. I support studies by running subjects, creating Qualtrics surveys, peer reviewing, and performing literature reviews, and I bring a careful, research-driven mindset to every task. I also developed strong customer service and time-management habits through cashier and in-house roles in a high-volume environment, along with collaborative communication through broadcasting at KCSB-FM.
