What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead AI-assisted software delivery, modernise legacy systems, build effective technology teams, and turn rapid product experiments into stable, data-informed products.

At MailOnline, I lead CMS software development while remaining 30% hands-on, moving the development team to agentic workflows and building internal harnesses, agents, and a memory layer for development, QA, support, and project teams.

I introduced detailed monitoring, eliminated the need for several weekly on-call shifts, and removed 70% of high-risk, high-cost legacy systems. I deliver editorial workflow improvements as rapid experiments, then refine them through internal user feedback and data.

Through SIELAY LTD, I build open-source distributed harnesses including eidan.dev, incorporate agentic workflows, and ship MVPs and stable products. I have also published books spanning software engineering and investigative journalism.

Earlier, I managed and grew product and engineering teams through post-MVP growth, acquisition, founder transitions, and failed-MVP stabilisation across PureHolidayHomes.com, Pushfor, Time Inc UK, Apprecie, Nokia, and WAYN.com.
