Luka Maraš

I am a Systems Analyst, Full-Stack Developer, and Product Owner with over a decade of experience bridging complex software architectures, intuitive user interfaces, and physical hardware. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in System Analytics and am certified in Agile/Scrum product ownership. Throughout my career in international environments, I have specialized in turning high-level business goals into actionable technical user stories and scalable end-to-end products.

My technical stack spans Angular, React, Node.js, NestJS, C# .NET, SQL, Docker, and Figma for design. I have built and configured my personal private development and testing environment using Docker-based home server infrastructure that interfaces in real time with smart home automatons and IoT sensors.

Beyond my core software background, I have a deep passion for hardware prototyping, embedded systems, and IoT networks. I am the founder and engineer of arija.me, an open civic environmental platform that pairs custom-made IoT sensor nodes with real-time data ingestion pipelines that calculates air quality indexes and presents them in a user-friendly easy to understand web app.

My engineering explorations as a hobby extend into Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), HAM radio, and aerial flight controllers. I have built aircraft ranging from hand-built balsa gliders to outfitting pre-bult aircraft with flight controller integrations featuring auto-stabilization, autopilot capabilities, FPV video transmission, and long-range telemetry. Driven by community involvement and my active service as a volunteer firefighter, I want to apply my UAV and sensor background toward developing specialized thermal and night-vision drone platforms for early wildfire detection and environmental protection.
