I’m an agronomy-focused researcher and plant pathology intern with hands-on experience across genetics, plant breeding, and crop protection. I build strong laboratory skills while translating field questions into actionable experiments.
In my UFMT research project in Genetics and Plant Breeding, I developed expertise in laboratory practices and scientific paper writing. I also supported teaching as a Botany Teaching Assistant, helping students and organizing laboratory activities.
My current work as a Research Intern in Plant Pathology strengthens my end-to-end crop and lab workflow, from soybean and corn crop management to fungicide application and seed treatment. I evaluate cultivar performance in the field, run fungal growth and assessment under different treatments, and perform grain grading.
I’m also motivated by applied impact—working on a Community Vegetable Garden project and bringing practical horticulture techniques to real environments. With fluent English and Portuguese, I enjoy collaboration and I’m excited to contribute to plant breeding and laboratory research teams.
