What I'm looking for

Seeking a SOC Analyst / Cyber Security Analyst role where I can apply 4 years of experience in SIEM monitoring, threat hunting, incident response, and vulnerability management to protect digital assets and strengthen security posture. Open to remote, hybrid, and on-site roles.

I am a Cyber Security Analyst at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) with around 4 years of hands-on experience across SOC operations, SIEM monitoring, threat hunting, and vulnerability management.

In my current role I monitor and triage security alerts, investigate incidents, correlate events across log sources, and validate detections aligned with the MITRE ATT&CK framework. I work daily with SIEM platforms, endpoint security tooling, and perimeter technologies including Palo Alto, Check Point, and Fortinet firewalls.

Beyond the SOC, I have practical exposure to GRC fundamentals — ISO 27001, NIST controls, risk assessments, and access governance — along with a strong interest in penetration testing. I hold industry certifications and continuously upskill across cloud and AI security domains.

I thrive in challenging environments that demand proactive security measures, clear communication, and innovative solutions to safeguard digital assets and mitigate risk.
