What I'm looking for

I'm seeking senior engineering roles building high-performance storage and systems software (Ceph, NVMe-oF), solving low-latency and critical systems problems, working with DPUs, and mentoring engineers in a technically rigorous, collaborative environment.

I am a senior software engineer with a master's degree in software engineering (graduated with honors) and more than a decade building high-performance, low-latency systems. I have driven storage and systems work—developing an NVMe-oF gateway for Ceph, maintaining official Ceph packages, and implementing RBD extensions for Nvidia Bluefield DPU—while also producing production-ready charms for OpenStack and contributing to system-level virtualization and real-time projects.

I previously led model optimization and real-time reporting as a senior machine learning engineer and implemented multiprocessing, IPC and event-loop libraries earlier in my career. I speak Spanish natively and have professional English qualifications; I present technical talks (PyCon 2019, Ceph Days London 2024) and I look for roles where I can solve critical systems problems and mentor engineering teams.
